I have been studying very hard for my Bar Mitzvah, and I hope you will be able to celebrate it with me. My Bar Mitzvah isn’t just reading from the Torah for the first time, it also means I am becoming a Jewish man in my community. I believe that means that I must begin to help the Jewish community as an adult. I have chosen a tzedakah (charity) project of giving to Israeli children who are less fortunate than I am, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration in Jerusalem. With the help of all of you, I will be able to accomplish this. That would mean so much to me.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah Programs for Israeli Youth from Disadvantaged Homes
Many Israeli youths are unable to have a bar/bat mitzvah due to economic challenges or being unaware of Jewish rituals.
Your donation will help the Bnai Mitzvah study prior to a festive celebration and commemorate the event with family and friends.
This event also includes gifts of Judaica, Jewish heritage programming, and a festive outing to Jerusalem.
